Helps keep me on track, and reminds me of how long Ive been doing things. It doesnt allow enough room to see all the counters from the home page.

Id like to also see the number of weeks.

Either this app is for you, or isnt. I love the reminders of goals Ive set, landmarks in my life, & important dates/ moments in general.

Theres no app better for a countdown date :) Or a countup!

The app is the best count down / count up one Ive seen. Keeps track of multiple events, easy to use and looks good too.

After setting up the basic four .. Any new tickers remain in the system but are inaccessible to view or edit. Deleting as I type.

I saw the movie Equalizer last month and got the idea to time certain events. I find myself counting down to all events now that I have this app. I used it for my son today to see how long he could go between snacks. This is not his favorite app right now! This is a great app and I recommend for all.

I thought that this would be the perfect count up and count down app. And it would be if I could add events with my newest iOS. Supposedly they have been working on an update which would enable adds for those of us using the latest software since 2013. I was told months ago that the problem would be fixed soon. Deleting it now.

Ill save it to count down till an event but it keeps counting from when the event ended. Instead of 11 months till, it has 1 month from. Every time I change it, it will revert back when I reopen the app.

Where did all the pictures go I had in my last versions lists ? Needless to say Im NOT impressed with this "upgrade".

Love the new updated version. Now I can add events without having to start all over. This app lets me keep up with past events that are important to me! Good Job!

Cant even create an event. It wont take any dates. Not made for iPad display.

This app went free and now I know why: It only works if you want to count UP from a particular date, not DOWN. I confirmed this shortcoming by creating an event, choosing the date and time, and then opting for the Count Down option. Once you click Create," however, the date previously entered disappears and its replaced with a red exclamation point. As humans tend to count DOWN to a particular event--that is, only X number of days until that event--this app does little more than track how far in the past an event occurred. I guess that makes sense if, say, you want to know how much time elapsed since you last saw your doctor, but I suspect most want to see at a glance the date of significance (e.g., anniversary) and how many days (hours, minutes, seconds) until the anniversary of that event. The app is further complicated by the ambiguous "CountUp" and "CountDown" buttons that toggle between green and black. Does green mean its been selected or does black? I assumed green meant its been selected but that doesnt jive with the notification selection. Green under "CountUp" changes the notification selection to a "CountDown" format--that is, x number of hours, minutes, seconds until that event. But even if it worked correctly--which it doesnt--one can only choose to be notified up to one day in advance. How about more days, a week, or a month in advance to make it more useful under more varying conditions? With all of this said, the developers have created a useful app in theory that is rendered a colossal failure in actual use.

I love Life Ticker Pro. I can keep track of Birthdays (count up) - just be glancing I can see how old person is. I can make any category I want to track. I use one for Renewals for subscriptions (count down) so I can tell when I get close to renewal date. I have one for our upcoming Reunion so I can keep track of how many days to that event - on planning committee. You can have ticker picture, choose to be notified or not, count up or down, and make your own categories. I love the bigger size fonts. I had trouble figuring how to creating new categories and emailed for help. What exceptional customer service. The got back to me quickly. I tried it but still had trouble and the sent me detailed, visual instructions. Im a visual person so this was great! The only thing they might do is have a little help manual included as a reference guide. Use your imagination of what you can keep tract in your life!
